Quartz is an engineered stone made from grounded quartz and resin. This mixture produces a product that is Non-porous, scratch resistant, uniform in color, and stain resistant. Since it is Non-porous you don't need to seal Quartz like you do with a natural stone. Cleaning Quartz does not require disinfectants or abrasive chemicals, this will actually harm the stone.
